IPCS was honored to be part of a prestigious joint
research project conducted by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), and India's Naval
Forces in the Bay of Bengal onboard the ORV Sagarnidhi (Oceanographic Research
Vessel) alongside the INS Sindhurashtra (S65) (Russian Kilo-class)
diesel-electric attack submarine serving in the Indian Navy. The project
focused on the testing and validation of an advanced sonar system designed to
detect, track, and monitor underwater threats, including hostile submarines and
underwater mines.
